The aim of the courses is to perfect and increase candidates’ ballet professionalism with the help of the Company’s experts, Artistic Director and invited acclaimed teachers.

1 or 2 week courses are available, suitable for varying levels of dancer: professional, semi-professional and students aged 15 upwards who have completed at least one year in full-time training for a career in dance. Upon completion of a Course, dancers receive a Certificate marking their achievement. A guideline daily timetable would be from 10.00am start to 4.00pm finish, with a shorter day on Saturdays; no instruction sessions on Sundays.

Participants should look upon these courses as a fast and effective way of improving their technique and deepening their knowledge and understanding of ballet - they provide an excellent basis for developing a dancer’s potential and artistry for future dance projects and auditions. Furthermore, the Course environment also presents a perfect opportunity for dancers who might be interested in working with the Company to demonstrate their skills to the Company Artistic Director, and may therefore serve as an alternative to the Company’s formal audition process.

Courses include:

ballet class

pointe work

repertoire (including Solo & Pas de Deux)

advanced technique for boys

character dance

corps de ballet work

Courses are taught by experienced teachers whose knowledge includes Russian ballet technique amongst others.
